About the Role

This PRN (as-needed) night-shift position is ideal for an experienced emergency nurse who wants scheduling flexibility while practicing at the top of their license. You'll join the opening team of a new free-standing emergency room in the Mount Pleasant area, supporting the broader HCA Healthcare Long Point Emergency Room network.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients presenting with a wide range of emergency and urgent conditions.
• Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care across the night shift in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document care accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the multidisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Uphold HCA Healthcare's standards for patient safety, quality, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing.
• Clinical experience in emergency, critical care, or acute care nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills under pressure.
• Availability to work PRN night shifts with flexible scheduling.
