About the Role
As an Education Paid Intern at NACS, you'll contribute directly to the association's mission of advancing education and professional development across the convenience retail sector. This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity designed to give you meaningful project ownership, mentorship from experienced professionals, and exposure to how trade associations shape industry standards and workforce development.
What You'll Do
- Support the development, coordination, and delivery of educational programs, training materials, and learning initiatives for retail professionals
- Assist with curriculum research, content creation, and educational resources that serve convenience store retailers and suppliers
- Help coordinate educational events, webinars, workshops, and professional development opportunities
- Conduct research on industry trends, best practices, and skills development needs within retail and convenience store operations
- Contribute to documentation, case studies, and educational collateral that support member learning
- Provide administrative support to the education team and cross-functional departments
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant degree program (education, business, communications, or related field)
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Interest in education, workforce development, or the retail industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new tools and systems
