DTFP-A Intermediate Analyst

Canvas II. is hiring a DTFP-A Intermediate Analyst in Huntsville, Madison County. In this full-time role, you'll support the Missile Defense Agency's Test Directorate and contribute to the flight test mission of the Space Based Interceptor program—critical work in defense technology.

About the Role

As an Intermediate Analyst, you'll join the Consolidated Flight Test Organization, providing technical analysis across the full test lifecycle. Your work directly influences mission success from planning through execution and assessment. You'll combine rigorous data analysis with real-world spaceflight operations, contributing to one of the nation's most advanced defense programs.

What You'll Do

• Conduct pre-mission analysis to support test planning and readiness
• Provide technical support during mission execution
• Perform comprehensive post-mission data analysis and interpretation
• Contribute to development of post-flight Best-Estimate-Trajectories (BETs) for critical mission assessment
• Document findings and support mission evaluation teams
• Collaborate with engineers and test specialists to refine operational procedures

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or related STEM field
• Experience with test data analysis and interpretation
• Familiarity with flight dynamics, trajectory analysis, or space systems (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities
• Secret security clearance eligibility or current clearance
