About the Role
As a Class A CDL Driver for Clean Harbors, you'll operate a fleet of specialized vehicles—including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-off containers—transporting hazardous materials and performing cleanup operations at customer sites. Your expertise with commercial vehicles and understanding of environmental safety protocols will be essential to our mission of serving industrial and commercial clients throughout Ohio.
What You'll Do
- Operate Class A CDL-required heavy-duty trucks and specialized work equipment at customer job sites
- Transport hazardous materials and waste in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Perform both driving and non-driving duties supporting hazardous waste cleanup operations
- Manage roll-off container placement and retrieval for industrial and commercial clients
- Maintain accurate logs, safety documentation, and vehicle inspection records
- Collaborate with crew members and site managers to ensure safe, efficient operations
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating heavy-duty trucks and specialized equipment
- Familiarity with hazardous materials transportation and safety protocols
- Strong mechanical aptitude and preventive maintenance awareness
