Dispatch Assistant

Technipower is hiring a full-time Dispatch Assistant to join its team in Hudson, Hillsborough County. This on-site position plays a vital role in keeping construction operations running smoothly by managing schedules, coordinating field teams, and ensuring resources reach job sites on time.

About the Role

As Dispatch Assistant at Technipower, you'll be the central hub connecting the office and the field. You'll manage daily logistics, oversee crew assignments, and communicate critical information between management and teams in the field. Your work ensures that every vehicle, crew, and piece of equipment is deployed efficiently to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

What You'll Do

• Organize and maintain daily dispatch schedules for crews and vehicles
• Receive job requests and assign crews to appropriate project locations
• Communicate job details, schedules, and changes to field teams via phone and radio
• Track vehicle and crew locations throughout the day
• Respond promptly to field issues and coordinate solutions with management
• Maintain accurate records of assignments, hours, and job progress
• Handle incoming calls and inquiries from clients and team members
• Support inventory and equipment coordination as needed

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Comfort with phone communication and radio systems
• Proficiency using computers and basic software applications
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Previous dispatch or construction experience is a plus
