About the Role
As a Dishwasher Utility staff member at our Ivyland senior living community, you'll support the heart of our daily operations—our kitchen. You'll work alongside our culinary team to ensure all equipment, dishes, and serving items are clean, sanitized, and ready to support meals that residents enjoy and depend on. This role combines hands-on dishwashing responsibilities with utility and kitchen support duties, keeping everything running smoothly so our culinary team can focus on preparing quality meals.
What You'll Do
- Wash, dry, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware using dishwashing equipment and best practices
- Load and unload commercial dishwashing machines and hand-wash delicate or specialized items
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dishwashing area, kitchen, and related spaces
- Assist with general kitchen utility tasks, including storing supplies, managing inventory, and organizing equipment
- Support food preparation areas by keeping work surfaces clean and sanitized
- Follow food safety and health regulations and company protocols
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and dining service staff to meet operational needs

Compensation and Schedule
