About the Role

In this position within Gap Inc's Communications & Engagement and Executive Communications teams, you'll develop and execute all public-facing communications initiatives for top-level executives across business, fashion, and entertainment. Your work will define executive visibility, manage reputation, and ensure consistent strategic messaging. This role requires exceptional discretion, strategic thinking, and deep expertise in corporate communications.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute strategic communications campaigns for high-profile executives and organizational initiatives
  • Lead executive media relations, including preparation for interviews, public appearances, and press engagements
  • Craft compelling messaging and communications strategies that enhance executive visibility and organizational brand
  • Direct response strategy for time-sensitive communications challenges and executive announcements
  • Coordinate across departments to ensure consistent executive messaging and brand alignment
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and business stakeholders
  • Provide strategic counsel to executive leadership on communications opportunities and challenges

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience in executive communications, strategic communications, or related leadership roles
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing high-impact communications campaigns
  • Strong media relations background with proven experience in media training and spokesperson development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with talent for crafting compelling executive messaging
  • Strategic mindset with ability to anticipate communications challenges and develop proactive solutions
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Experience in retail, fashion, entertainment, or consumer-facing industries is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
