About the Role
As Director/Sr Director, Chemical Development at Treeline Biosciences, you will guide our clinical-stage portfolio compounds from early process work through scale-up, manufacturing, and regulatory readiness. This on-site position in Watertown places you at the heart of building a dependable, well-controlled supply chain that keeps our development programs moving with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the chemical development, optimization, and scale-up of small-molecule drug candidates across the portfolio.
- Oversee manufacturing activities and ensure consistent, high-quality supply of portfolio compounds.
- Prepare programs for regulatory milestones and contribute to the documentation that supports filings.
- Establish and strengthen a reliable supply chain spanning internal teams and external partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate research-stage chemistry into robust, transferable processes.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading chemical or process development within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.
- Deep working knowledge of small-molecule process chemistry, scale-up, and manufacturing.
- Familiarity with regulatory expectations and the requirements for advancing compounds through clinical development.
- Proven ability to manage external manufacturing relationships and build resilient supply chains.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills suited to a fast-moving, clinical-stage environment.
