About the Role

You will report directly to the Associate Vice Chancellor and Campus Architect, leading a team responsible for executing complex facilities projects from conception through completion. Beyond day-to-day project oversight, you will manage departmental finances, develop and maintain recharge rate structures for cost recovery, and serve as a strategic partner in long-range campus planning and resource allocation.

What You'll Do

  • Direct the planning, budgeting, and execution of facilities and construction projects
  • Supervise project managers and construction professionals through all phases of delivery
  • Manage departmental budgets, fiscal forecasting, and resource allocation strategies
  • Design and administer recharge rate models to support transparent cost tracking and recovery
  • Collaborate with campus divisions, external contractors, and vendors to meet project objectives
  • Establish performance standards, compliance protocols, and quality assurance measures
  • Provide executive-level reporting on project status, financial performance, and infrastructure priorities

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in project and facilities management, ideally within higher education or large institutional settings
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong background in budget development, cost control, and financial stewardship
  • Expertise in construction delivery processes, procurement, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, or related discipline; advanced certification or graduate degree preferred
