Develop and implement comprehensive philanthropic strategies BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS AND FUNDERS MANAGE A DIVERSE PORTFOLIO OF GRANTS AND DONORS COORDINATE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT INITIATIVES TO MAXIMIZE IMPACT LEAD A TEAM OF DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONALS Your Responsibilities The Director of Philanthropy & Community Engagement will be responsible for: Strategically developing and executing fundraising campaigns to meet annual goals Building and maintaining relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners Overseeing the grant writing process to secure funding opportunities Organizing and facilitating community events that enhance our organization's visibility and impact Collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment of philanthropic goals with overall organizational objectives Skills & Qualifications We are looking for a candidate who possesses: A minimum of 7 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and community engagement A proven track record of securing significant grants and donations Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a team Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and networking abilities Familiarity with donor management software and CRM systems Experience in hybrid work environments is preferred More About The Mockingbird Society The Mockingbird Society is dedicated to supporting vulnerable populations in East Union, King County.
