The Academy of the Holy Cross located in Kensington, Maryland is currently looking for a Director of Communications and Marketing. In this role the Director will be responsible, for implementing a plan to effectively communicate and promote the school with the aim of attracting admissions and philanthropic support. They will oversee the creation of school publications manage social media content coordinate advertising and public relations efforts and act as a spokesperson for the school when necessary. Additionally they will handle crisis communications. Ensure branding. The ideal candidate should have 3 years of experience in Communications and Marketing preferably within non profit or educational environments. Proficiency in design and media production across platforms well as expertise in MS Office and Adobe software is desired. Strong organizational skills and effective time management are also qualities, for this position.
