Director, Medical Writing

SAB is seeking an accomplished Director, Medical Writing to lead biologics documentation strategy from our Sioux Falls, Minnehaha County headquarters. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity to shape the regulatory and clinical narrative behind a maturing biologic pipeline.

About the Role

As Director, Medical Writing – Biologics at SAB, you will own both the strategic vision and the day-to-day execution of producing premium regulatory and clinical documentation. Your work will directly support the late-stage advancement and planned commercialization of SAB-142, our lead biologic candidate, as well as additional programs across the company's portfolio. The position calls for advanced command of biologics regulatory writing and the judgment to translate complex science into clear, submission-ready content.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the planning, authoring, and on-time delivery of regulatory and clinical documents supporting SAB-142 and the wider pipeline.
• Provide strategic leadership for medical writing aligned with late-stage development and commercialization milestones.
• Oversee document quality, consistency, and scientific accuracy across submissions.
• Partner with clinical, regulatory, and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
• Guide operational workflows that keep deliverables timely and compliant.
