Director, Enterprise Talent Acquisition (Highmark/AHN)

About the Role

As Director of Enterprise Talent Acquisition at Highmark Health, you'll own the complete talent acquisition function for our enterprise, reporting to the VP of Talent Acquisition. You'll partner with senior leadership and business units across the health system to translate strategic workforce needs into execution, building pipelines and recruiting excellence that drives organizational growth and mission impact.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a large, multi-functional recruitment team delivering exceptional hiring outcomes across clinical, administrative, and technical roles
• Design and execute enterprise talent acquisition strategies aligned with Highmark Health's organizational goals and growth initiatives
• Oversee full-cycle recruiting operations including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, offer management, and onboarding
• Build and optimize recruitment processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and time-to-fill
• Collaborate with HR business partners and hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and translate them into targeted recruitment plans
• Manage recruiting budgets, metrics, and analytics to demonstrate ROI and inform continuous improvement
• Champion a strong employer brand and candidate experience that reflects Highmark Health's values and mission
• Stay current with talent acquisition best practices and evolving recruitment trends in healthcare and beyond

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, ideally including leadership or management of recruitment teams
• Proven track record driving enterprise-level recruiting strategy and executing large-scale hiring initiatives
• Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment, applicant tracking systems, and recruiting metrics
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with ability to partner across all levels of the organization
• Experience managing and developing teams, with demonstrated ability to foster engagement and drive performance
• Strategic mindset balanced with operational excellence and ability to execute on complex priorities
• Knowledge of healthcare recruiting or large, complex organizational environments is a plus
