Director, Design

Best Western International invites an accomplished design leader to join our corporate headquarters in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona, as Director of Design. This full-time role offers the opportunity to drive brand-defining creative strategy for a global hospitality company with eight decades of industry leadership.

About the Role

The Director of Design shapes visual identity and creative direction across our global brand. You'll establish design standards, lead creative initiatives, and ensure our brand voice resonates across all platforms and touchpoints. This is a leadership position within our corporate team where strategic thinking meets hands-on design expertise.

What You'll Do

• Establish and execute design strategy that aligns with corporate objectives and market positioning
• Lead the creative development of brand assets, visual systems, and design standards
• Direct design efforts across digital, print, environmental, and experiential applications
• Foster collaboration across departments to maintain brand consistency and design excellence
• Lead and develop design talent to sustain a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Work with senior leadership to translate business goals into compelling visual solutions
• Monitor design trends and emerging technologies to keep the brand competitive and contemporary
