About the Role
Journey Services LLC is growing, and we are seeking warm-hearted, committed caregivers to join us as Direct Support Professionals. In this position you will support individuals living with developmental and physical disabilities, as well as older adults, helping them thrive both at home and throughout the surrounding community in the San Tan Valley area of Queen Creek, Maricopa County. Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday during morning hours, with pay ranging from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities in their own homes and out in the community.
- Provide attentive, respectful personal care to people with developmental and physical disabilities and to the elderly.
- Encourage independence, dignity, and meaningful community engagement for those you support.
- Build trusting, supportive relationships with clients and their families.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and caring environment during every shift.
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for helping others and a dedicated, dependable approach to care.
- Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Availability to work the Monday-through-Friday morning schedule.
- Comfortable supporting clients in both home and community settings.
- Eligibility to work on-site in Queen Creek, Maricopa County (this is not a remote position).
