Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

Dungarvin is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide full-time support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Osseo, Hennepin County. About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll work as the primary source of daily support for individuals, helping them navigate their households and communities with confidence. You'll play a vital role in fostering independence, building life skills, and creating a stable, nurturing environment where people thrive.

What You'll Do

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
• Prepare meals and help with grocery shopping and meal planning
• Support household maintenance and create a clean, safe living space
• Help manage personal budgets and teach financial responsibility
• Coordinate transportation and attendance at medical appointments
• Facilitate community outings and social engagement activities
• Work with individuals who have behavioral support needs
• Support personal goal-setting and long-term life planning
• Maintain clear communication with the broader care team
