Direct Support Professional (DSP)

ASG Home Care is seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Alloway, Salem County, helping individuals with developmental disabilities live fuller, more independent lives across New Jersey.

About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional with ASG Home Care, you will work directly alongside people with developmental disabilities in their own homes and throughout their local communities. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Alloway, Salem County, where consistency, compassion, and reliability make a genuine difference every day. As a DDD-focused agency, we connect our DSPs with local cases and steady, dependable hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, person-centered support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings
• Assist with daily living activities, routines, and personal goals that promote independence and well-being
• Encourage community participation and meaningful engagement in everyday life
• Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for each individual served
• Communicate consistently with families, team members, and supervisors to ensure quality care

• A sincere commitment to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
• Dependability, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work locally on assigned cases throughout New Jersey, including the Salem County area
• Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team structure
• Eligibility to work full-time in an on-site capacity
