ASG Home Care is seeking a dedicated, full-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to make a real difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities across New Jersey, with local cases based in Oaklyn, Camden County.
About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional with ASG Home Care, you'll work directly with individuals supported through New Jersey's Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), helping them live fuller, more independent lives in their own homes and surrounding communities. This is a hands-on, people-first position built around consistent hours and dependable local assignments throughout the Oaklyn and Camden County area.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, day-to-day support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings.
- Encourage and promote personal independence, skill-building, and active participation in community life.
- Assist with daily living activities, routines, and personal goals according to each individual's support plan.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and dignified environment for every person you serve.
- Collaborate closely with a supportive DDD-focused team to deliver reliable, high-quality care.
Qualifications
- A genuine commitment to supporting people with developmental disabilities.
- Reliability, patience, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to local cases across New Jersey, with assignments centered in Oaklyn, Camden County.
- Availability for full-time work with flexible scheduling.
