About the Role

The Digital Media Student Assistant is a full-time, on-campus position within the Student Life and Leadership department. In this role, you will help craft and manage digital content that promotes student programs, events, and resources. This is a hands-on opportunity to build practical media and communication skills while contributing to an engaged campus community in Fullerton, Orange County. The role is on-site and is not remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and edit digital media content that supports Student Life & Leadership programs and initiatives.
• Assist with promotional materials for campus events, activities, and student services.
• Help maintain a consistent visual and messaging style across digital channels.
• Collaborate with department staff to translate ideas into engaging media assets.
• Support day-to-day media tasks during scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

• Current student status for the 2026-27 academic year.
• Interest or experience in digital media, design, or content creation.
• Availability to work at least twice per week, with shifts of a minimum of three hours each.
• Ability to work within standard office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the possibility of occasional evenings and weekends.
• Reliable, collaborative, and able to meet deadlines in a team environment.
