Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and agricultural equipment to manufacturer standards
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive service on farm machinery and diesel-powered units
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems with accuracy and efficiency
- Document repair orders, parts usage, and service notes with precision
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly to service staff and customers
- Prioritize urgent field and shop repairs during peak agricultural seasons
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a Diesel Technician, preferably in an agricultural or heavy equipment dealership environment
- Working knowledge of ag equipment systems — mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic
- Ability to diagnose complex issues independently and execute repairs efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license; additional certifications a plus
