About the Role

As a Diesel Service Technician at Auffenberg Ford O'Fallon, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems for customers throughout the O'Fallon and Saint Clair County area. This is a full-time, on-site position with a fourth-generation, community-minded organization that has served the region since 1942.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics on diesel engines, drivetrains, and related vehicle systems
• Carry out repairs, scheduled maintenance, and inspections to manufacturer standards
• Document work performed and communicate findings clearly to service advisors and customers
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area
• Stay current with evolving diesel technology, tools, and repair procedures

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and vehicle systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and solid problem-solving skills
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and standard automotive service tools
• A valid driver's license and dependable, detail-oriented work habits
• Relevant technical certifications are a plus
