About the Role
As Development Operations Coordinator, you'll be the operational backbone of our fundraising efforts, ensuring that every donor interaction reflects our commitment to building meaningful, lasting relationships. You'll work directly with our development team to manage the day-to-day operations that enable Catholic Charities Community Services to connect generously with supporters who share our vision of serving those in need.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate development activities and special events that cultivate donor engagement and support for Catholic Charities Community Services
- Maintain and update donor records in our database systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for the development team
- Process gifts and donations, managing acknowledgments and donor communications to demonstrate our gratitude
- Prepare reports and analyses that track donor engagement, retention, and the lifetime value of our supporter relationships
- Schedule meetings, coordinate communications, and provide administrative support to development staff
- Assist with grant management documentation and donor research to support fundraising initiatives
- Support the execution of fundraising campaigns and major giving events throughout the year
- Respond to donor inquiries and act as a first point of contact, embodying our donor-centered philosophy
What We're Looking For
- Experience in development operations, fundraising administration, or nonprofit support roles
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with database systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- A genuine passion for nonprofit work and our mission to serve underserved communities
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and external partners
- Problem-solving mindset and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
