About the Role

As a Detective/Investigator with Archuleta County, you will conduct skilled professional and technical investigations into criminal activity occurring within the County's jurisdiction. Key Responsibilities

• Investigate petty, misdemeanor, and felony criminal offenses committed within the County's jurisdiction.
• Collect, document, and analyze evidence to determine the facts and circumstances of each case.
• Perform all standard law enforcement and patrol deputy functions as required.
• Enforce applicable local, state, and federal laws and ordinances.
• Support the protection of life, health, and public safety throughout Archuleta County.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform professional and technical investigative work.
• Working knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and ordinances.
• Capability to fulfill the duties of a Patrol Deputy in addition to investigative responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and integrity in handling sensitive criminal matters.
