Dental Receptionist

About the Role

As our Dental Receptionist, you'll manage the front office with professionalism and genuine care. You'll be the anchor of our patient experience, handling the details that let our clinical team focus on delivering exceptional dental care.

What You'll Do

• Welcome patients and create a calm, organized first impression during check-in
• Manage our appointment schedule to maximize patient flow and clinic efficiency
• Verify insurance coverage and explain patient benefits clearly
• Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records
• Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and schedule appointments
• Maintain patient confidentiality and manage digital and paper records with attention to detail
• Support the clinical team by preparing rooms and materials between appointments
• Help patients feel at ease by addressing questions and concerns with warmth and professionalism

What We're Looking For

• Customer service experience in a medical, dental, or healthcare setting (preferred)
• Familiarity with dental insurance terminology and claims verification
• Comfortable learning and using dental practice management software
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities without losing track
• Excellent phone manners and written communication
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when needed
• A genuine interest in helping patients and supporting their dental health
