Position Summary
The Delivery Manager plays a vital role by taking ownership and ensuring the success of multiple projects through effective leadership and client-facing engagement. This role is tasked with achieving excellence in project delivery, cultivating customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and utilizing Agile methodologies to lead teams toward the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Delivery Manager adopts a product-thinking mindset and a collaborative approach to drive client outcomes and deliver exceptional experiences.
Position Responsibilities
- Proven leadership abilities when working with project teams to ensure high-quality service delivery within agreed timeframes while proactively managing risks and maintaining budgets.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, managing the product development lifecycle and fostering collaboration across functional teams.
- Draft and maintain project charters, proposals, and quotations including clearly articulating the objectives, scope, budget, and success criteria.
- Define business outcomes through working with stakeholders to establish measurable goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with strategic priorities.
- Manage milestones and realistic timelines by developing a detailed project plans with phased deliverables, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Report progress and outcomes through providing regular updates to stakeholders to maintain transparency and drive continuous improvement.
- Employ Agile and Scrum methodologies to guide project delivery, ensuring alignment with these practices.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, design, and QA teams to define and achieve product goals.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Project Management certifications (PMP, CAPM, etc.) and Agile/Scrum certifications are preferred.
- 5-8 years of project management experience in Agile consulting environments, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Exceptional skills in communication, management, problem-solving, and client engagement.
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-phase engagements in the software development industry
- Strong consulting skills with a history of understanding client needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Experience delivering projects in AI, analytics and digital transformation are a bonus.
