MDW Associates seeks a dedicated DARS Analyst to support critical Department of War operations in Alexandria, Virginia. Based in the Trade area, this full-time position provides essential analytical support to the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSW(A&S)), a key agency within the Department of War.
About the Role
As a DARS Analyst at MDW Associates, you'll deliver data-driven analysis and strategic insights to support defense acquisition and sustainment initiatives. Your work directly impacts the efficiency and effectiveness of critical government operations, providing leadership with the analytical foundation needed for informed decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Analyze acquisition and sustainment data to support strategic planning and operational priorities
- Develop comprehensive reports and briefing materials for senior government leadership
- Conduct research on defense policy, acquisition strategy, and program performance
- Support the Office of the Under Secretary with analytical requirements and special projects
- Collaborate cross-functionally with government stakeholders and internal teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and data integrity across analytical processes
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated analytical and research experience, preferably in a government or defense context
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights
- Experience with data visualization and report development
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all deliverables
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Current or ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance (preferred)
