About the Role
In this Customer Service Associate position, you're the essential connection between shoppers and our mission to make secondhand shopping rewarding and accessible. You'll create positive interactions that turn first-time visitors into loyal customers, all while supporting one of North America's largest for-profit thrift retailers.
What You'll Do
- Greet and assist customers with genuine warmth, answering questions about our pre-owned clothing, accessories, and household goods
- Process purchases with accuracy and efficiency at the register
- Help customers navigate our ever-changing inventory of unique donated items
- Maintain attractive, well-organized store displays and shopping areas
- Address customer questions and concerns with professionalism and patience
- Share enthusiasm about our sustainability mission and thrift shopping culture
- Collaborate with the team on daily store operations and responsibilities
What We're Looking For
- Natural ability to communicate clearly and connect with diverse customers
- Comfort standing for extended periods in a dynamic retail environment
- Genuine passion for providing excellent customer service
- Reliability, positive attitude, and strong teamwork orientation
- Prior cash handling or retail experience preferred
- Appreciation for sustainability and the secondhand shopping experience
