About the Role
This Custodian 2 position in Payson, Utah is an intermediate, individual-contributor role centered on a sacred purpose: helping to seek to bring forth and establish the cause of Zion. By keeping assigned spaces consistently clean, sanitized, and well-ordered, you remove distractions and help create a safe, welcoming, and reverent environment for everyone who enters the Payson Utah Temple. This is a fixed-term assignment of approximately six months.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain assigned areas of the Payson Utah Temple in a clean, sanitized, and orderly condition.
- Carry out routine custodial tasks safely and efficiently to minimize distractions for patrons and staff.
- Follow established cleaning standards and procedures to support a healthy, presentable facility.
- Assist with grounds upkeep, special events, and other manual-labor duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Comfort performing physical, hands-on work, including manual-labor tasks.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and order.
- Ability to work safely, efficiently, and independently as an individual contributor.
- Flexibility to support grounds work and special events when needed.
- Availability for a part-time, temporary, fixed-term schedule of about six months in Payson, Utah County.
