What You'll Do Lead and supervise the cultural resources team, providing direction on technical and operational matters Direct cultural resources assessments, archaeological surveys, and heritage compliance evaluations Coordinate with clients, tribal representatives, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation Ensure compliance with CEQA, NEPA, and cultural resource regulations Contribute to proposals and business development for new opportunities Maintain quality control and mentor junior staff on best practices Participate in technical cultural resources work as needed What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in archaeology, anthropology, cultural resources management, or related field 7+ years of professional cultural resources experience, including team leadership Knowledge of California environmental compliance and cultural resource regulations Strong project management and client communication skills Ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively Experience supervising and developing professional staff Familiarity with cultural resource databases and GIS a plus About Helix Environmental Planning Helix is an employee-owned environmental consulting firm with offices throughout California.
