Air Products is hiring a full-time C&SU Electrical Technician at our Allentown facility in Lehigh County. You'll diagnose, maintain, and repair critical electrical systems and equipment that power industrial operations.
About the Role
This full-time C&SU Electrical Technician position is essential to keeping Air Products' Allentown operations running safely and efficiently. You'll work with complex electrical systems, compression and separation units, and industrial control equipment, troubleshooting problems and performing both planned maintenance and emergency repairs.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose electrical faults and failures using diagnostic tools, meters, and test equipment
- Repair and replace electrical components, motors, controls, and wiring in C&SU systems
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to avoid unexpected downtime
- Install new electrical systems and equipment according to technical specifications and codes
- Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize production interruptions
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance
- Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and electrical code requirements
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED with formal electrical training or equivalent hands-on experience
- Demonstrated experience maintaining industrial electrical systems and equipment
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuit analysis, and troubleshooting methodology
- Ability to read and work from electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment
- Solid safety practices and compliance mindset
- Problem-solving ability and comfort working both independently and in teams
