You'll report to the Clinical Supervisor and participate in our 24/7 crisis response system. What You'll Do Assess individuals in crisis situations and evaluate risk factors to determine appropriate interventions Provide immediate crisis counseling, de-escalation techniques, and emotional stabilization support Connect clients with ongoing treatment resources, stabilization services, and community mental health programs Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, interventions, and clinical outcomes Respond to crisis calls and work flexible hours including evenings, nights, and weekends Collaborate with clinical teams, hospitals, law enforcement, and social service agencies Participate in team meetings and continuing professional development activities What We're Looking For Current QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) certification Master's degree in counseling, mental health, social work, psychology, or related field for Specialist III Doctorate or state licensure in a mental health discipline for Specialist IV Demonstrated experience managing acute psychiatric and behavioral crises Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with diverse populations Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for emergency response Flexibility to respond to urgent situations outside standard business hours About Community Counseling Solutions Community Counseling Solutions delivers accessible, evidence-based mental health services to individuals and families across Gilliam, Wheeler, and surrounding counties.
