As a full-time Criminal Defense Lawyer with the LAW OFFICE OF JULIAN J. POOTA, PLLC, you will represent individuals across a broad spectrum of criminal matters. Working on-site in Southfield, Caddo Parish, you will deliver the kind of attentive, client-first defense that has earned our firm its standing for excellence and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Defend clients facing a wide range of criminal charges from initial consultation through resolution.
- Build and execute case strategy through thorough legal research, investigation, and analysis of evidence.
- Represent clients during hearings, pretrial proceedings, negotiations, and trials.
- Counsel clients clearly on their rights, options, and the progress of their cases.
- Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with precision.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law and good standing with the bar.
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in criminal defense litigation.
- Excellent written and verbal advocacy, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
- Sharp analytical judgment and meticulous attention to detail.
- A genuine, client-centered commitment to those you represent.
