Key Responsibilities Carry out timely investigations and assessments of alleged child maltreatment, gathering and evaluating evidence to reach informed dispositions. Interview children, caregivers, and collateral contacts while documenting findings accurately and in line with state and county standards. Develop safety plans and connect families with appropriate community resources and support services. Collaborate with law enforcement, schools, healthcare providers, and the courts on complex or high-risk cases. Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced caseworkers as a senior member of the team. Maintain organized, court-ready records and prepare reports and testimony as required. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in child protective services, social work, or a closely related human services field.
