Construction Surveillance Technician with Security Clearance

Olgoonik Corporation seeks an experienced Construction Surveillance Technician to join our team in Stratmoor Hills, El Paso County. In this full-time role, you'll serve as the primary security professional ensuring safe, controlled site operations and protecting personnel and assets on active construction projects.

About the Role

As our Construction Surveillance Technician, you'll manage all aspects of site access, monitoring, and security oversight. You'll be the lead on the ground, responsible for maintaining the integrity of construction zones and ensuring every contractor and worker meets security requirements before entering the site.

What You'll Do

• Administer comprehensive access control procedures and security protocols across active construction sites
• Monitor and credential all personnel entering the project, verifying authorization and compliance
• Oversee contractor operations to ensure adherence to security and safety requirements
• Conduct regular site patrols and maintain detailed security logs and incident reports
• Coordinate with project management, contractors, and security leadership on site-specific requirements
• Respond to security concerns and potential breaches with appropriate escalation and documentation
• Maintain secure checkpoint operations and manage access badge or credential systems

What We're Looking For

• Current, active security clearance (required or ability to obtain one as a condition of employment)
• Proven experience in construction site security, access control, or related security operations
• Strong understanding of federal or contractor security requirements and compliance protocols
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and follow standardized procedures
• Physical ability to patrol grounds and manage access checkpoints for full shifts
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
