Construction Superintendent / Supervisor

This full-time position is based in Uleta and offers the opportunity to manage high-profile residential and commercial construction sites while working directly in the field.

About the Role

As a Construction Superintendent with Newman Brothers Construction, you'll oversee daily operations at active job sites, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence. This is a hands-on role where you'll spend the vast majority of your time on-site managing crews, coordinating trades, and solving real-time project challenges.

What You'll Do

• Supervise subcontractors and trade crews at multiple construction sites throughout Miami-Dade and Broward County
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with building codes and industry standards
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients on site inspections and quality control
• Document progress and maintain project records and communications
• Troubleshoot obstacles and implement solutions to keep projects on track

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience supervising construction crews on residential and/or commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices
• Ability to lead teams, manage conflict, and motivate diverse crews
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Dade and Broward County
• High school diploma or GED (trade certifications or superintendent licenses preferred)
