Construction Senior Project Manager (Mission Critical Data Center)

Gardner Builders is hiring a Construction Senior Project Manager to lead mission-critical data center projects in Hopkins. This is a full-time position with an established general contractor committed to delivering exceptional facilities and building lasting partnerships with clients and team members.

About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager specializing in mission-critical data center construction, you'll oversee all phases of complex projects from preconstruction planning through final closeout. You'll manage budgets, schedules, and teams while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety that data center clients demand.

What You'll Do

• Direct daily project operations for mission-critical data center construction, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to execute projects that meet strict uptime and performance requirements
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules while tracking progress against established milestones
• Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and implement value engineering strategies
• Lead quality control and safety initiatives across all project phases
• Foster collaborative relationships with project stakeholders and construction teams
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and communications for clients and management

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of construction project management experience, ideally in mission-critical, industrial, or data center environments
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations
• Proven ability to manage complex project schedules and budgets effectively
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with diverse teams
• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
• Experience with construction management software and industry tools
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
