Jacobs is hiring a Construction Manager - TS/SCI CI Poly - OCONUS to lead owner's representation for a government client program in Harrogate, United Kingdom. This full-time position, based from our Glendale, Denver office, requires relocation to the UK project site for a 20-month assignment and an active Top Secret clearance with Compartmented Information and Polygraph eligibility.
About the Role
As the Construction Manager supporting this government program's owner's representative operations, you'll oversee all aspects of construction delivery on an overseas project. This leadership position combines on-site project management with strategic coordination among the government client, contractors, and design teams to ensure timely delivery within budget and specification.
What You'll Do
- Direct daily construction activities and manage site operations
- Monitor schedule progress, resource allocation, and key project milestones
- Manage construction budgets and implement cost control measures
- Perform quality inspections and verify compliance with contract specifications and applicable codes
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors
- Document project progress, track issues, and implement solutions
- Provide regular status reports to the government client
What We're Looking For
- Active Top Secret security clearance with Compartmented Information (CI) and Polygraph eligibility
- Extensive experience managing construction on government or large-scale infrastructure projects
- Solid understanding of construction management methodologies, scheduling tools, and cost control techniques
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Capacity to work effectively in regulated, independent environments
- Availability to relocate to Harrogate, United Kingdom for the 20-month project duration
