Concrete Tender – Installer & Finisher

Denco, Inc. is seeking an experienced Concrete Tender, Installer & Finisher for a full-time position based in Las Cruces, Doña Ana County, serving commercial and government construction projects across Southern New Mexico.

About the Role

As a Concrete Tender and Finisher with Denco, Inc., you'll be a key member of our skilled construction crew, responsible for preparing, installing, and finishing concrete work on diverse projects. This is a hands-on, full-time role that combines technical expertise with the ability to work independently and take ownership of your portion of the work. You'll execute concrete tasks with precision and professionalism on jobsites throughout the region.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and grade job sites for concrete placement, including ground prep and layout work
• Construct and install concrete forms and frameworks according to specifications
• Position, tie, and install rebar reinforcement for structural integrity
• Operate concrete finishing equipment and hand tools to achieve quality surfaces
• Float, trowel, and finish concrete to proper grades and required texture
• Maintain accurate measurements and ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications
• Collaborate effectively with crew members and respond to supervisory direction
• Maintain a safe and organized work area while following all safety protocols

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a concrete tender, finisher, or rebar installer on commercial or government projects
• Strong knowledge of concrete forming, reinforcement placement, and finishing techniques
• Ability to read and interpret concrete plans and project specifications
• Proficiency with standard concrete tools and finishing equipment
• Physical stamina and capability to perform demanding manual labor
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Reliable transportation to jobsites in Las Cruces and surrounding areas
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check
