About the Role
As a Concierge/Security Officer in our Security Department, you'll be the welcoming first point of contact for building visitors and residents while upholding rigorous security standards. This full-time position in New York City blends hospitality expertise with security responsibility, ensuring both a positive visitor experience and a protected building environment.
What You'll Do
- Greet and assist visitors, residents, and clients with professionalism and attentiveness
- Monitor entry points and verify visitor identification and building access purposes
- Maintain situational awareness throughout building areas and respond to security concerns
- Communicate clearly with building management, staff, and residents regarding access and emergencies
- Document visitor activities, incidents, and observations to maintain security records
- Confirm security systems and equipment are operational and report any malfunctions
- Handle inquiries and requests from all stakeholders with courtesy and reliability
