Compliance Specialist (Pest Control)

Mira Home is hiring a full-time Compliance Specialist (Pest Control) to join their team in Lindon, Utah County — a role built for detail-oriented professionals who want to keep a growing home services company operating safely, lawfully, and efficiently.

About the Role

As a Compliance Specialist at Mira Home, you'll serve as the operational backbone for regulatory adherence across pest control services. You'll work hand-in-hand with field technicians and company leadership to ensure every layer of the business — from pesticide handling to technician records — stays current with state and federal requirements. Your work directly protects both the people doing the work and the customers being served.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and maintain compliance with Utah Department of Agriculture and EPA regulations governing pesticide application and handling
• Track technician licensing, certifications, and renewal deadlines to ensure uninterrupted field operations
• Develop, update, and enforce standard operating procedures for regulatory compliance
• Conduct internal audits of operational records, product inventories, and documentation practices
• Coordinate compliance training for field staff and new hires
• Serve as a point of contact for regulatory inquiries and agency communication
• Identify gaps in current compliance practices and recommend corrective actions to leadership
• Maintain organized, audit-ready records across all compliance-related functions

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a closely related role — pest control or home services industry experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of pesticide regulations at the state and federal level, or a strong aptitude and willingness to develop that knowledge quickly
• Exceptional organizational skills and a natural attention to detail
• Clear, professional communication — you'll regularly translate regulatory requirements into plain language for field teams
• Proficiency with record-keeping systems and the ability to manage multiple compliance streams simultaneously
• A collaborative mindset and comfort working across departments, from operations to leadership
• Ability to work on-site in Lindon, Utah County (this is not a remote position)
