Community Manager

Bolt.new by StackBlitz is hiring a remote Community Manager to build, scale, and champion the developer communities behind our AI-powered, in-browser app builder. If you thrive on high ownership and hands-on community work, this full-time role puts you at the center of product, people, and education.

About the Role

As Community Manager at Bolt.new, you'll take full ownership of our B2B and B2C communities, defining how they're structured and raising the bar for the conversations, content, and value members experience. This is a daily, in-the-weeds role: you'll respond, moderate, shape discussions, and translate what you hear into actionable signals for the business. The work directly influences engagement, retention, and product direction, so you'll set the strategy and personally execute it, not hand it off.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and operate our community ambassador program end to end, recruiting top contributors, recognizing meaningful participation, and sustaining quality at scale.
• Spot power users early, form genuine relationships, and create clear paths from engaged member to advocate.
• Curate and grow a library of high-quality build artifacts: starter apps, templates, prompt packs, and recipes that help users ship faster.
• Foster a creator loop where members are motivated to produce reusable assets others can remix and learn from.
• Structure, moderate, and set the tone across channels, designing architecture that serves distinct user segments.
• Triage product feedback, bugs, and friction points with strong signal-to-noise judgment before surfacing them to Product and Engineering.
• Represent the community's voice cross-functionally and partner with CX teams to close the feedback loop.
• Define community-driven education priorities and track health metrics to drive real decisions.

Qualifications

• A proven record of building and growing thriving B2B and B2C online communities.
• Hands-on experience designing and running ambassador or advocacy programs, including recruitment, onboarding, and recognition.
• Managed large communities (10K+ members) with bots, roles, moderation systems, and channel architecture.
• Familiarity with artifact, template, or marketplace ecosystems built from community-created assets.
• Experience running engagement and education programs—workshops, events, and self-serve learning—that boost retention.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI, web development, and the builder ecosystem, plus excellent written communication and sharp editorial judgment.
