About the Role
As the Community Coalition Coordinator with AVPRIDE in Macon, Bibb County, you will serve as the connective tissue between residents, partner organizations, and local stakeholders. This part-time position centers on strengthening coalition efforts that promote wellness and positive community outcomes, and it includes monthly travel to Fayetteville, GA. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience, with an expected schedule of 20–25 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support coalition meetings, activities, and community initiatives across Macon and Bibb County.
- Build and maintain relationships with local partners, volunteers, and stakeholders.
- Help organize outreach events and assist with day-to-day program logistics.
- Track participation, gather feedback, and contribute to ongoing reporting.
- Travel monthly to Fayetteville, GA to align with the broader AVPRIDE team.

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse community members.
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable coordinating multiple tasks and schedules.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a coalition setting.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel monthly to Fayetteville, GA.
