Amazon is designing custom semiconductors that power cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence applications globally, and we need a skilled communications professional to share that impact with the world.
About the Role
As a Communications Specialist on our Chips team, you'll be at the center of telling Amazon's computing innovation story. You'll work with engineers, product leaders, and executives to translate complex technical achievements into compelling narratives for diverse audiences—from industry analysts and customers to the broader technology community.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute communication strategies that showcase Amazon's semiconductor breakthroughs and their real-world applications
- Create clear, engaging content including technical briefs, thought leadership pieces, press materials, and web copy
- Partner with engineering and product teams to understand chip capabilities and translate them into business value narratives
- Support executive visibility through speeches, media relations, and industry event participation
- Build and maintain relationships with media, analysts, and key industry stakeholders
- Measure communication effectiveness and iterate on messaging and channels based on performance data
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional communications, marketing, or public relations experience
- Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate technical or complex topics to non-expert audiences
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of published work
- Experience developing and executing multi-channel communication campaigns
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
