This full-time role leads site operations and daily oversight for Construction Management at Risk projects, focusing on K-12 and higher education facility construction across North Carolina.
About the Role
You'll direct all site activities, manage crews and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed on schedule with the highest quality standards. As the primary on-site leader, you'll coordinate with architects, engineers, school administrators, and university representatives to keep everyone aligned and informed throughout construction.
What You'll Do
- Direct construction activities and manage project schedules on a daily basis
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and material deliveries
- Enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance on all job sites
- Inspect work quality and verify adherence to construction plans and specifications
- Monitor labor, equipment, and project budgets
- Report project status and resolve issues with general contractors and facility stakeholders
- Manage project closeout activities and final inspections
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience as a construction superintendent or senior field manager
- Knowledge of Construction Management at Risk delivery methods
- Experience with educational building construction preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel among project sites across North Carolina
