About the Role

As a Commercial Security Officer with GardaWorld in Daytona Beach, you will serve as the first line of defense, monitoring a bank of screens and live feeds to identify unusual activity before it escalates. Success in this position comes down to vigilance: noticing the small details others miss and responding calmly and decisively when something looks off.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor surveillance screens and camera feeds to detect potential threats or irregularities
• Scan and interpret multiple displays at once while maintaining sustained focus and concentration
• Spot and flag suspicious behavior, hazards, or security breaches in their earliest stages
• Document observations and report incidents accurately and promptly
• Support a safe, secure environment for the site and everyone within it

Qualifications

• Strong observation skills paired with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to stay alert and engaged while scanning several screens simultaneously
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable working on a full-time schedule
