Civil Litigation Lawyer

Gpac is hiring a Civil Litigation Lawyer to strengthen a growing legal team in Arsenal, Pennsylvania, where you will handle complex business and commercial disputes from intake through resolution.

About the Role

This full-time, on-site Civil Litigation Lawyer position is based in the Pittsburgh, PA area and suited to an attorney with roughly three to five years of civil litigation practice. Working within a collaborative firm environment, you will manage a varied caseload centered on business and commercial litigation matters while building client relationships and sharpening your courtroom craft. Compensation is determined by each candidate's experience and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients across the full lifecycle of civil litigation, including business and commercial disputes
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and build well-reasoned case strategies
• Take and defend depositions, and prepare matters for hearings and trial
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' interests in court proceedings
• Communicate clearly with clients, opposing counsel, and the court throughout each case

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–5 years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on business and commercial litigation
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania, or eligibility to obtain admission
• Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently
