WSP is hiring a Commercial/Industrial Environmental Services Lead for our Buffalo, Erie County office. In this full-time role, you'll lead complex environmental projects for commercial and industrial clients throughout the region while advancing sustainable solutions that meet client objectives.
About the Role
This leadership position within our Earth & Environment team focuses on delivering environmental consulting, assessments, and compliance services to commercial and industrial organizations. You'll direct project strategy, manage client engagements, oversee technical teams, and ensure solutions align with regulatory requirements and business goals.
What You'll Do
- Lead complex environmental projects and site assessments for commercial and industrial clients
- Direct Phase I and Phase II environmental investigations and remediation efforts
- Develop and manage compliance programs guiding clients through environmental regulations
- Build and maintain strategic client relationships and oversee account performance
- Supervise project teams of engineers and environmental professionals
- Ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations
- Contribute to business development and growth in the Buffalo market
What We're Looking For
- Degree in environmental science, civil engineering, geology, or related field
- Professional engineering (PE) license or equivalent technical expertise
- Proven track record leading environmental consulting projects
- Deep understanding of environmental compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and lead technical teams
- Strong analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills
