West Village Post Acute is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant in Greenville, South Carolina. Join our skilled nursing facility and be part of a team that's transforming patient care in the South Carolina Upstate.
About the Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you'll provide essential direct care to patients in our 132-bed skilled nursing facility. This is a part-time position where your compassion and attention to detail directly improve the daily lives of the people we serve. You'll work alongside licensed nurses and care teams to deliver dignified, hands-on support in a recently renovated clinical environment.
What You'll Do
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Monitor and report vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse to nursing staff
- Help position and transfer patients safely, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable patient rooms and common areas
- Support patients with eating, drinking, and hydration needs
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests
- Document patient observations and report changes to nursing leadership
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery goals
What We're Looking For
- Current CNA certification or license in South Carolina
- Compassionate approach to patient care with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Physical capability to lift, transfer, and assist patients throughout shifts
- Reliable attendance and punctuality in a part-time schedule
- Willingness to follow infection control protocols and facility policies
