The Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services team guides customers through their cloud journey to help businesses thrive. As a Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide technical guidance to customers adopting Google Cloud Platform services, including secure foundational cloud implementations, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, and cloud-ready application architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 6 years of experience in networking, compute infrastructure, and architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions
- 6 years of experience in project management and technical solution delivery
- Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
- Experience with one or more third-party networking products
- Experience in scalable networking design
- Experience troubleshooting networking protocols
- Experience in customer-facing migration
- Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies
- Familiarity with standard IT security practices
