IRE is seeking a Clinical Research Associate to support oncology clinical trials across Tennessee, Indiana, and Kentucky. In this full-time role, you'll contribute directly to advancing new cancer treatments while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and research integrity.
About the Role
As a Clinical Research Associate in oncology, you'll manage the operational and administrative foundation that enables rigorous clinical trials to succeed. Working closely with research teams and study participants, you'll ensure compliance with regulatory standards and help bring innovative cancer therapies through the research pipeline to patients who need them.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate study activities and maintain alignment with Good Clinical Practice standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage patient screening, eligibility assessment, enrollment, and informed consent processes
- Maintain comprehensive study documentation, case report forms, and electronic data systems with precision
- Support patient recruitment and retention efforts for oncology clinical trials
- Monitor protocol adherence, track adverse events, and ensure timely regulatory reporting
- Communicate regularly with study sponsors, investigators, and research teams
- Provide education and support to study participants throughout their research involvement
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or associate/bachelor's degree preferred
- Background in clinical research, healthcare, or related field demonstrating familiarity with research principles and compliance
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities accurately
- Clear communication skills for engaging patients, clinical staff, and cross-functional teams
- Meticulous attention to documentation, data integrity, and regulatory detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a professional healthcare environment
- Based in or able to serve Tennessee, Indiana, or Kentucky
